Women candidates in the electoral lists of political forces

When forming the lists, the vast majority of political forces were guided by the requirement of the lower threshold of the law, giving the first female candidates the third line. In almost all the lists, there are three women candidates in the first top ten. Five women are represented only in the first top ten of the list of the “Freedom” Party, four women – in the first top ten of the “Homeland of Armenians” Party.

Only two lists of 26 political forces are headed by women – the first number of the electoral list of the “United Homeland” Party is Lusine Avakyan, and Karin Tonoyan is in the first line in the list of the “5165 National Conservative Movement” Party.

The second part of the national lists, intended for candidates who are representatives of national minorities, includes 14 candidates in total, of which 3 are women.

Only five political forces – the “Armenian National Congress”, “Civil Contract”, “Prosperous Armenia”, “Sovereign Armenia” and the “Armenia” Alliance included national minorities in their lists.
