The Ministry of Defense announced the names of 4 female servicemen who died as a result of Azerbaijani aggression.

“2022 During the large-scale aggression unleashed against the Republic of Armenia on September 13, female servicemen and militiamen – Susanna Margar Grigoryan, Anush Ashot Apetyan, Alisa Suren Melkonyan, Irina Karlen Gasparyan and others – showed vivid examples of unbreakable will, courage and patriotism.

Carrying out the sacred mission of protecting the Motherland, the border entrusted to them to the end, they showed exceptional bravery, unyielding determination to defend themselves, resisted the continuous attacks of the numerically superior enemy, inflicting heavy losses on him and continuing the centuries-old tradition of our glorious women warriors.

Eternal glory to all our heroes who sacrificed their lives and immortalized their names for the defense of the Motherland,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
