This fall is the consequence of a significant decrease in the estimated earned income ratio. Armenia is one of the four countries from the region that performs below average on the health and survival subindex.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.womennet.amwp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Armenia_GGGR12-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The report, which first began back in 2006, tracks 135 countries and measures the size of a nation&#8217;s gender gap with 14 indicators broken down into four key areas:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational Attainment (literacy, primary-, secondary- and tertiary-level school enrolment)<\/li>\n<li>Economic Participation and Opportunity (returns from education: employment, income and career advancement)<\/li>\n<li>Health and Survival (life expectancy, sex ratio at birth)<\/li>\n<li>Political Empowerment (women\u2019s representation in parliament, in minister-level positions, in executive office)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Georgia is ranked 85th having the best indicators among neighboring states.
