{"id":43274,"date":"2019-09-23T21:05:40","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T21:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am?p=43274"},"modified":"2019-10-16T11:20:57","modified_gmt":"2019-10-16T11:20:57","slug":"artashat-nachyntrakan-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am\/en\/artashat-nachyntrakan-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven from Artashat. pre-election TV report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.womennet.amwp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Teknatsuner-Artashat.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>48 candidates, 7 of whom are women, have applied to run for the municipal council of Ararat regional center Artashat at the September 29 local government elections. 44 of the candidates are self-nominated, and only four are nominated by parties, including two women candidates from the Prosperous Armenia and Social Justice parties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among the female candidates running for election are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nelly Aloyan &#8211; non-party, self-nominated;<\/p>\n<p>Anna Galstyan is a member of the PAP, nominated by the party, she is a member of the PAP Women&#8217;s Council;<\/p>\n<p>Tina Margaryan is a non-party, self-nominated, principal of Artashat # 1 primary school;<\/p>\n<p>Karine Mikaelyan is a non-party, self-nominated, Director of &#8220;Robada&#8221; LLC;<\/p>\n<p>Heriknaz Nazaryan is a non-party, self-nominated, former council member;<\/p>\n<p>Armine Sargsyan is a non-party, self-nominated, high school teacher in Artashat;<\/p>\n<p>Araksya Stepanyan is a member of &#8220;For Social Justice&#8221; party nominated by the party.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It should be reminded that the Council of Elders consists of 15 members and there were 2 women in the former Council of Elders: Nazaryan Heriknaz and Hayrapetyan Ruzan.<\/p>\n<p>All the nominated candidates consider themselves as supporters and ready to support each other.
