{"id":37201,"date":"2017-10-03T08:39:01","date_gmt":"2017-10-03T08:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am?p=37201"},"modified":"2017-10-08T20:26:30","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T20:26:30","slug":"tim-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am\/en\/tim-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Elections in 2017: The nominations have been launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.womennet.amwp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/choshoracum.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Regular elections of local self-government bodies will be held on November 5 in 66 communities in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Lori, Kotayk, Shirak, Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Tavush regions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More than thirty of them are elections in larger communities, resulting in about 30 communities from 361 communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Aragatsotn &#8211; Alagyaz, Aparan, Tsaghkahovit, Aragatsavan,<\/p>\n<p>In Gegharkunik &#8211; Geghamasar, Chambarak, Shoghakat, Vardenis,<\/p>\n<p>In Lori &#8211; Gyulagarak, Akhtala, Alaverdi, Shnogh, Lori Berd, Metsavan, Sarchapet, Stepanavan, Tashir, Odzun,<\/p>\n<p>In Kotayk &#8211; Meghradzor, Yeghvard, Charentsavan, Akunq, Byureghavan, Jrvezh<\/p>\n<p>In Shirak &#8211; Marmashen, Akhuryan, Ani<\/p>\n<p>In Syunik &#8211; Sisian, Kapan, Kajaran<\/p>\n<p>In Vayots Dzor &#8211; Areni, Gladzor, Yeghegis<\/p>\n<p>In Tavush \u2013 Berd<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Extraordinary elections are scheduled for November 5 in Artashat, Ararat marz, Shirakamut of Lori region and Goris communities of Syunik region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It should be reminded that Mayor of Artashat Argam Abrahamyan refused from the mayor&#8217;s post after being elected as a Member of Parliament from the Tsarukyan bloc and Goris mayor Vachagan Adunts resigned in early September. Because of political intrigues, these two cities may be in the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the data published by the Central Electoral Commission, only 15 of the mentioned communities will be held only in the community head, in 17 communities &#8211; only council members, and in 37 communities &#8211; community member elections and community head elections will be held simultaneously.
