Today in Armenia parliamentary elections were held. On these days following the events WomenNet.am witnessed several incidents and irregularities,  the target of which were women.  <\/p>\n

From \u201cTsarukyan\u201d alliance to the Republican Party<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First, let\u2019s note that the number of women candidates on the last day of the election campaign decreased by one. Narine Arakelyan candidate nominated by rating system from \u201cTsarukyan\u201d  alliance at N7 constituency of Aragatsotn region decided to support the MP Aragats Akhoyan nominated by rating system from Republican Party.<\/p>\n

Wreath<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, a call was received that at 5th apartment in Aygedzor Street,, building  76 where resides Naira Zohrabyan \u2013 head of the PAP faction –  the first female candidate of the Tsarukyan alliance laid a wreath by the unknown persons,with “God bless Naira Zohrabyan” notice. Armlur.am- reports that these individuals before the appearance of the apartment, broke the camera placed at the entrance so that their hooliganism cannot be recorded.<\/p>\n
