Emergency Situations Ministry officer Gohar Navasardyan occupies 26th<\/sup> place of the  national list of the Republican Party of Armenia. She says she wants to become a member of Parliament in order to raise the issues of people with disabilities there and become involved in their solution. “I think education and employment of persons with disabilities are the primary issues, which still remain relevant”.<\/p>\n

These problems Gorharn felt on her skin, when years ago before getting the job at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no matter how hard she was trying to find a job, she was denied only because of having disability, she is mowing on the wheelchair. “I went to many places for work, they always refused, they said they will call, and  call until  today\u2026 “.<\/p>\n

According to Gohar when she decided to study psychology, for 5 years she was struggling for  moving up on a wheelchair as there was no special place for it at Yerevan State University and the same inside the building. “Barriers for people with disabilities are many, although some problems are solved, but still not fully resolved”.<\/p>\n
