The discussion was organized by the &#8220;ProMedia-Gender&#8221; NGO, with the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia and the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was attended by council members, representatives of political parties, representatives of Vanadzor residents of different ages and different social organizations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Participants presented their views on the role of women in politics, reflected on the stereotypes and obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;During the discussion there was screening of the TV debate on women&#8217;s political participation prepared by &#8220;Yerkir Media&#8221; TV in cooperation with &#8220;Pro-Media Gender&#8221; NGO.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"newstxt\">On Saturday in Vanadzor focus group discussion was held at \u201cPeace Dialogue&#8221; NGO on &#8220;Women and Politics&#8221; topic.
