Accordingly, today, 8 or 24% of the 33 members of the new council of Vanadzor are women. According to the RA Electoral Code, parties are obliged to provide a 25\/75 gender ratio on their lists. On October 2d \u00a08 parties participated in municipal elections in Vanadzor.
