A total of 419 candidates submitted their nominations in candidate lists, of which 128 or 30.5% were women. It should be noted that required by law, the parties should ensure a minimum proportion of 25\/75 gender balance in their electoral lists. Let\u2019s note that there is only one woman in the 21-members of \u00a0council of Gyumri.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Overall, one third of the submitted lists of candidates nominated by political parties in Gyumri are women.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, 8 of the 11 parties represented \u00a0women in the first three candidates on the list, three others &#8211; beginning from the 4<sup>th<\/sup>.
