{"id":29016,"date":"2016-08-25T11:01:16","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T11:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am?p=29016"},"modified":"2016-11-07T19:45:02","modified_gmt":"2016-11-07T19:45:02","slug":"tim-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.womennet.am\/en\/tim-september\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Elections: 21 women\u00a0 running for community leader position\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 18, the next elections will be held in 317 communities of Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Tavush and Syunik regions.\u00a0 In 22 of these will take place only the elections of community leader, in 80 \u2013 only elections of council members\u00a0 and 215 in &#8211; at the same time elections of\u00a0 the head of the community and City Council member.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the data of the CEC, issued on September 18, among\u00a0 548 candidates\u00a0 registered\u00a0 for local community leader regular elections only 21 representative are female of, 4 of which will compete in Aragatsotn region, 7 in the Ararat region, 8 in Armavir and 2 of Tavush region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The election campaign will kick off on August 31 and will run until September 16.
