It is her first pregnancy. She says: \u201cThe relatives wanted me to have a boy, but echo showed that it is a girl\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople think that they should first have a boy, but it depends on people, for example, Child\u2019s gender is not important for me and my husband, the most important thing is to have a healthy baby, &#8211; says Anahit, &#8211; now we are living in times when to give birth to a child is a very difficult thing, everybody wants to have a healthy baby.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Because of sex-selective abortions in Armenia annually 1400 girls are not born, which is stated by UNFPA research data. Gegharquniq region is in leading positions according to the number of sex-selective abortions.
