The theme fighting against violence against women is in the center of attention of womennet.am, 70% of women have been subjected to physical or sexual violence by their partner at least once in lifetime. Violence against women is an expensive cost for the world. Annual global economic loses amount to 8 trillion dollar.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cHealthy nutrition and women\u201d was among new initiatives of womennet.am in 2015. The main topic of the national award ceremony \u201cAgricultural female hero\u201d held on the eve of the International Women\u2019s day was food security. Each of 11 women awarded prizes has her own approach to the issue, but all of them care in order to provide ecologically healthy and safe food.<\/p>\n
