XII International Film Festival \u201cWoman\u201d held from November 3-7 in Yerevan ended, the winners are known. Womennet.am talked to the director of film festival Mariam Ohanyan.<\/p>\n

\u201cReinvent the place of a woman in a society, highlight their problems through cinema, to form a new base, which will contribute to the promotion of films created by women, disclosure of new names, as well as inter-perception of cultures of different nationalities, – this is the official definition of the \u201cWoman\u201d festival.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Examining the course of the last few years, we can note that film festival \u201cWoman\u201d has also a social function: our screenings are free while the represented films are human stories. Perhaps not all the films are of high value in terms of cinematography, but the most important thing is that they are human. Very often it is the film, which people can enjoy, get excited – something missing in our lives. Our festival is also a very good training platform for students. Here they can see what is done in other countries.<\/p>\n
