By the invitation of the President of Lithuania &#8211; Dalia\u00a0Grybauskait\u0117, Postanjyan was on this panel together with Croatian<br \/>\nPresident Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, former U.S. Secretary of State\u00a0Madeleine Albright, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and other\u00a0high-ranking officials and members of parliaments from Sweden, Moldova\u00a0and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.womennet.amwp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In her speech prepared for the panel Postanjyan stated that women&#8217;s\u00a0empowerment is especially challenging in authoritarian and corrupt\u00a0regimes formed in many post-Soviet countries, including Armenia, and\u00a0that the removal of these regimes is important for tackling issues of\u00a0justice and equality for all.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.womennet.amwp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nPostanjyan also mentioned the recent grave cease-fire violations\u00a0by Azerbaijan and that as a result of the artillery shelling of\u00a0civilians three Armenian women and four soldiers were killed and\u00a0several civilians were injured.<br \/>\nRussia&#8217;s aggression in the region and violations of human rights werealso discussed during the meeting.
