According to official data, only two out of 10 children under the age of 6 attend kindergarten. In rural areas of the Republic involvement of children in preschool institutions is much smaller \u2013 only 10.5%. In most rural communities (about 80%) children are deprived of the opportunity to attend kindergarten.
