OXFAM in Armenia international charity organization, announces a competition for the regional journalists on the topic of “Women’s Rights in Armenia: De Jure and De Facto “.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Who can participate<\/strong>? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The materials can be submitted by the persons involved in publishing online and broadcast media, independent journalists, non-governmental activists, public correspondents and bloggers.<\/p>\n Materials should be printed, broadcasted or posted online during the March 1, 2013 to March 1, 2014<\/strong> time period. They should cover political, social and economic activities and the achievements of women, who live in the regional urban and rural communities of Armenia, as well as any problems and obstacles related to the realization of women’s rights. The materials may be submitted in any genre of journalism.<\/p>\n Prizes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The best works will be awarded. The awards will be determined in the following categories.<\/p>\n TV Material, Radio Material, Published Article, Online Article, Public Correspondence \/ Blog Article, Photo.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Deadline for Submission of Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n The deadline to submit the materials for the competition is March 1, 2014<\/strong>. The results will be summarized and presented to the public on March 8.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jury Composition<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The jury will consiste of representatives of organizations dealing with women’s rights and journalists.\u00a0 The jury will take into account the public importance of the issues raised in the materials, authenticity of the information and creative style of offering the materials.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How to Apply<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
