Many of them have to confront society\u2019s false perception of disability, improper application of regulations and other forms of discrimination. According to official statistics around 92% of disabled people are unemployed.<\/p>\n<p>The Study &#8221; Employment of People with Disabilities in Armenia: Needs And Barriers&#8221; \u00a0was conducted within the framework of the \u201cLivelihood Improvement through Fostered Employment (LIFE) for People with Disabilities\u201d Program funded by the USAID and implemented by Save the Children and project \u201cSocioeconomic Reintegration Programme \u00a0for Mine Victims in South Caucasus\u201d funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds of Austrian Development Cooperation through ITF and implemented by IOM. \u00a0Status: Conducted<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.life-disability.am\/Docs\/Report_PWD_Employment_Armenia_Eng.pdf\">EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN ARMENIA: NEEDS AND BARRIERS.
