Vanadzor residents actively discussed the topic “Woman and Politics” 

On Saturday in Vanadzor focus group discussion was held at “Peace Dialogue” NGO on “Women and Politics” topic. The discussion was organized by the “ProMedia-Gender” NGO, with the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia and the European Union.

The discussion was attended by council members, representatives of political parties, representatives of Vanadzor residents of different ages and different social organizations.

 Participants presented their views on the role of women in politics, reflected on the stereotypes and obstacles.

 During the discussion there was screening of the TV debate on women’s political participation prepared by “Yerkir Media” TV in cooperation with “Pro-Media Gender” NGO.
