Remark cannot cause other feeling than nuisance

Our survey revealed that for the Armenian girls remarks are mostly unpleasant even if they are made in a form of a compliment. Few men admit that do remarks and they say that confess that they do it mostly in case of girls who are distinguished by their clothes or behavior. The girls, however, point out, that remarks are done due to the nature of men and not their appearance. What is more interesting is that doing remarks is not just Armenian phenomenon. The survey recently conducted in New York, revealed that women get extra attention from men in public places. “Hollaback” movement activists conducted testing which showed that 24-year-old girl got men’s attention for 108 times during 10-hour-walking down the street.
