Nune Petrosyan: “Whereever I have been, I have always tried to be useful to the people.”
Candidate Nune Petrosyan, 7th in the ARF proportional list, is a doctor by the profession. She was nominated for the first parliamentary elections in 2007, then in 2012 and 2017, but she did not enter the parliament. This time, running for the top ten in the list of the ARF proportional list and the 12th in the district list, she is convinced that she will justify the expectations of her constituents.
She studied and graduated from the Pediatric Department of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, and then resumed her clinical residency at the Moscow Medical Academy of Pediatrics. For many years she worked as a pediatrician-neonatologist at Vayk Medical Association CJSC in Vayots Dzor region. At present she is the Chairman of the Children’s Specialized Commission of the Medical-Social Expertise Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Married, has four children.
In parallel with the doctor’s profession, Nune Petrosyan actively promoted public-political activity. 2003 she has implemented health and educational programs in Vayots Dzor regions and in Vayk through the Martiros charitable foundation. Together with the Foundation, the border villages have been provided with medicines and medical advice.
In case of being in the National Assembly, the MP candidate has decided to raise the issue of healthcare, in particular children and disability issues, to make legislative initiatives.
Nune Petrosyan is convinced that the ARF Dashnaktsutyun is likely to move to the parliament, as Dashnaktsutyun’s representation is a necessity in the parliament.
