Testimonies of a Polish midwife about Auschwitz
A Polish midwife Stanislava Leshinska 2 out of her 35 professional life spent in Auschwitz concentration camp as a prisoner. She was liberated in 1945 but it was only in 1965 that she was able to record her memories of what she had seen in a camp. As she said many of the women brought to a camp were pregnant. During two years she helped 3000 women to give a birth to babies. According to het it was just a miracle that in those hell conditions no case of death was recorded.
