It is simply impossible to spot Lilo from the “Fruits and Vegetables” store. Slim, but strong, agile, with sparkling eyes, original humor and individual approach to each client. Lilit Hakobyan says that she wanted to be admitted to the “Physical Education Institute” – volleyball or weightlifting department, but due to circumstances, she was not able to. She tried to work in an ordinary store, in the field of cleaning services, but realized that she found herself in the “empire” of fruits and vegetables.

Lilit remembers that she used to play “boyish” games in the yard and always won. When her team went ahead, they said: let Lilo not play, so that the conditions are equal. She never trained anywhere. One day, after graduating from school and after a long search for a job, he got an offer to work in a vegetable shop. It took 2-3 days for her to learn, although she admits that there is always something to learn. At first, they taught her, now she has been in this field for 12 years. “If the product starts to spoil, we don’t throw it away, we put it aside for cheaper, we say, people will take it, they will make something.” In this case, you have to make sure that there is not a lot of waste”, Lilit shares the nuances of the case. The routine of the day is the same. wakes up at 7, takes a shower, gets dressed and comes to work with love. “I clean the area every God’s morning, so that people don’t come and say, ‘Isn’t there a girl working here?'” says Lilit.

The formula of a strong woman

She says that lifting weights is not for a woman, it is simply forced by the working conditions. Although she does not complain about her work or life. She has a good family: father, mother, brother, and she loves work. After finishing school, the parents studied shoemaking, then met and got married. “I keep my family well, they don’t lack anything. When I buy something, I say: let them eat a lot, I’m little, I’m a girl, I’ll bear it, girls are strong, men can’t bear it, it’s the law of nature… I don’t ask my parents for money, I’ve achieved everything on my own. I bought myself a phone, a gold chain, I organized my life”, – Lilit records her chain of successes and admits that she does not accept a person who has strength, energy, but does not work, but asks for money instead…

Humorous diplomacy

 She cannot imagine a working day without humor, but not all buyers understand. When asked by customers which cucumber he would recommend, the outside or the inside, he jokingly answers: the inside, the outside is “tired” like me. “They ask, do you have fresh greens, I say, like mine?” There is a person who understands, and there is also a person who does not. You have to know who to joke with and who not to. You have to live life with humor, otherwise you won’t achieve anything and you will be remembered as a person who gives off bad energy,” Lilit explains the psychological side of the matter.

Refreshments after work

It seems that a person who spends 13-14 hours at work should at least not think about work when going home, but Lilit is worried even then. “Look, did I make a mistake today, was I rude to the client, or did I upset him? Maybe he won’t come?” Not to offend anyone is the most important internal principle of the store. But it happens that the buyers annoy them.

She doesn’t have a dream, but…

 She says that she doesn’t have a dream, whatever she had is slowly coming true. “I have dreamed of buying a car since I was a child. At the moment, I can buy, I know how to drive, but I don’t take risks, I’m not sure. But one day I will reach my goal.”

Feminine happiness and “little things”

Of course, Lilit thinks about starting a family, she says that there are boys who like her, but there is no one to whom she can trust everything. She does not consider the possibility of finding her second half among clients to be high. “Maybe there are people who like me, but there is no one to show that. “I don’t like feminine clothes, make-up, trivial things.

And don’t tempt us…

She hardly has free time and her main interests are the phone and her brother’s children. She likes to sing and listen to songs about Armenia and love… She believes in God, goes to church, and interprets unanswered requests like this: “People are put through trials so that God can see whether you will do good to people or help them… I have gone through many trials, but my enemy would not want my trials either,” says Lilit.

“You are going to ask me the question, do you want to change your job,” Lilit suddenly asks and answers her own question, “at the moment, I have no clear plans to change my life.” Little by little, the age comes when you start to get tired. I am 30 years old, of which I have been in this field for 12 years, this work may cause diseases, you can hurt your hand and back from picking up heavy boxes and watermelons incorrectly, in short, it is not a girl’s business, but I have found myself here,” she says confidently and firmly. the mistress of fruits and vegetables.
