“You have to ask yourself, ‘What do I want?’

 

“I did not think there would be such a turn in my life, I would start making wine,” says Gohar, who after graduating from high school with a degree in painting thought about entering the Academy of Fine Arts, but one day changed her mind and entered the Agrarian University.

 

I was admitted to the” Milk, Dairy Technology “department at the Faculty of Food Technology, but I was thinking about winemaking, I was just 17 at the time. This course provides an opportunity to travel to Italy to study food technology within the framework of the European Union “Erasmus” program.

 

“Nothing happens by chance, because we started studying winemaking there, it was very interesting for me, especially since I did not know anything about that field. Studying there was also a wonderful opportunity to become independent. ”

 

Gohar says that after returning to Armenia, she found out about the summer courses of “IVN” academy, applied and started to study winemaking in depth. After the courses, she successfully passes the exams and receives a small grant, which helps Gohar to start her own business.

 

 

Wine is still produced in small quantities, it finds its main consumption in Armenia. Gohar mentions that it was really difficult for a small business to succeed in the market, but when you make an effort, it is impossible not to succeed ․ “You have to work hard when your business is small, you are a director, a deliveryman, a producer,” she smiles and adds that she still has new ideas, but as in the case of “Victory”, this time too wants to offer something unique. “And the dream, of course, is to have our own garden and factory, well, everything is ahead”…

 

– First of all, you have to have a clear goal, to know what you want, it does not matter – you swim, you dig, you fly, there will be moments of disappointment and there will be moments of joy, but you must definitely move forward ․․․ Secondly, you have to listen to your inner voice, your desires, this is also very important, because it does not matter who said or thought what, you have to ask yourself what I want. If the fire is not lit, then it is not yours, when it comes to wine, everything in me just ignites, like it happens when drinking wine…
