Invitations to political debates “Women’s Agenda for Sake of Development”

OxYgen Foundation invites you to take part in the “Women’s Agenda for Sake of Development” political debates, which will be held in the framework of the “Equal” campaign on November 29^th, from 14:30 to 16:30 at the Milano Hall of Dartmouth-By-Hilton Hotel.

Candidates from all political forces participating in the National Assembly elections as well as local and international organizations and media representatives are invited to the meeting. The meeting will also be available online on the live platform.

The goal of the debates is to draw the attention of the political forces nominated by the National Assembly to more than half of the electorate, women’s issues, women’s decision-making levels, discrimination issues for women in the labor market, women’s issues of disability, reproductive health, rural women, etc.

We expect that the political forces not only will be in the pre-election period but also if they are elected, they will raise these issues from the podium and propose solutions to them.

The initiative also aims to promote the culture of political debate in the country as an important component of a civilized and contentious election campaign.

Political debate titled “Women’s Agenda for Sake of Development” is held in “Equal. Promoting Women’s Political Participation at the National Level “and” Civil Society in Elections and Monitoring Processes in Armenia: Elections for All “, with the financial support of the Swedish Government and the European Union.
