Dashtadem’s woman mayor was re-elected
According to preliminary data released by the Central Election Commission, during the local government elections held on April 17th, one of the female candidates was elected as a head of the community.
In Dashtadem community of Lori region the current Mayor, RPA member Marine Khroyane was re-elected. Her only rival, independent candidate Mr. Aghayan submitted his withdrawal earlier.
On April 17th elections ofcommunity members were held in Talin community in Aragatsotn province, New Caesarea community in Arrmavir region, in Saramej and Sarchapet communities of Lori region, Kuris and Chapni communities of the Syunik region. Let us note that there are no women among the candidates withdrawn.
