CEDAW Committee is considering the periodic report of Armenia

On 4^th of November, in Geneva, the 65th session of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, discussed at the UN “Armenia joint fifth and sixth periodic report on the implementation of the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women” Convention (CEDAW): The Committee will also consider the situation of women, 6 alternative reports submitted by civil society, including the one in Azerbaijan.

At a governmental delegation left for Geneva on 11 officials involved, including the members of the Permanent Mission to the UN Office in Geneva. Equally impressive delegation of civil society representatives, which included a number of NGO representatives who participated in the preparation of alternative reports to the CEDAW Committee.
