Karine Grigoryan. “I say, if I succeeded, you will definitely succeed”
Karine Grigoryan, an economist by profession, has decided to quit her job in the banking sector and devote herself entirely to bricklaying. Masonry was a favorite work of his father, builder Valeri Grigoryan. Back in 2019, Karine decided to keep her father’s promise before her death and reopen the inherited brick factory.
My father was a civil engineer by profession. He loved his job very much. In 2018, my father fell ill and was no longer able to work in a brick factory. I wondered how I could help him. I wanted to ask my father for advice, but he did not have time to say anything, he did not have time to give any advice. I had not been in contact with the workshop before, I had no idea how the bricks were made. After my father died, I kept thinking about restarting. I did not know where to start, what to do, how to do it.
The first thing I had to do was upgrade the equipment. I had no money, and my relatives, as they were against my activities from the beginning, were not ready to help. I searched the internet and found one of the necessary devices in the Russian Federation. It cost $ 6,000. One of my relatives helped, lent me money, and I imported the equipment from Russia.
At first, people were confused about a young girl doing bricklaying. Now, when they see that my work is working out, they treat it differently, try to be useful, encourage.
There are various support programs for viewers. We have, for example, got rid of some taxes, which helps a lot to work and attract new employees. The cost of the brick we produce is quite high compared to other bricks on the market. In this regard, tax exemptions are very important for us.
If the Russian troops were not in Artsakh, it would be very difficult to live here. Now many are afraid to invest, some want to start their own business, but it all comes at a high cost.
The secret of success in any business is to organize everything properly and systematically. You learn from the mistakes you made in the process so that you do not make mistakes next time.
