Support for families with young children. details of the decision

Due to the state of emergency because of the coronavirus, by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, families with an underage child and any of the following circumstances will receive assistance:

• two parents were fired in the period from 2020 March 15 to  2020 April 1
• one parent was fired in the period from 2020 March 15 to  2020 April 1 and the other one had no job
• one parent was fired in the period from 2020 March 15 to  2020 April 1 and the other one is dead, is considered as dead or missing
• single mother or parent living with child (if child’s parents are divorced) was fired in the period from 2020 March 15 to  2020 April 1

Support is provided in the form of a lump sum benefit. Support is provided at the minimum monthly wage for each minor child.
