Gayane Yeghiazaryan “The Council and the City should live and Act feeling each other”
Gayane Yeghiazaryan, non-partisan director of the London Eye International Educational Center, who is on the 8th place in the ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s electoral list, has not been directly involved in the political processes. But the offer to participate in Yerevan Council of Elders elections was not a surprise for her.
After graduating from the university, she began her career as an English language teacher at one of the secondary schools. She participated in the World Bank PIU’s educational program as a co-founder of high school graduate and university admissions program, then a teacher-trainer. In 2011, she founded the London Eye International Training Center. In 2018 she was awarded the title of “Armenian Woman 2018” for the establishment of inter-state ties in the field of dissemination of international education and educational system in Armenia.
In an interview with WomenNet.am, Gayane Yeghiazaryan expressed conviction that the woman can do in Armenia and achieve the maximum, and her example is just because she has been able to go on her own success. “The Armenian woman is a strong figure, a thoughtful and creative figure. She also does not stop moving forward, “she said.
As for involvement in political processes, Mrs. Yeghiazaryan noted that it was not a surprise for her to participate in the elections with the ARF list.
The program provisions which are in Dashnaktsutyun’s program and which are intimate she separated the vision of making Yerevan comfortable, as well as their Yerevan Mayor Candidate Michael Manukyan’s emphasis on the pan-Armenian and human-centeredness of the capital.
Touching upon the problems of women and children in Yerevan, she was quite laconic, highlighting women’s awareness and as education representative, access to education, accessibility and targeting children.
Asked what the pledge is ready to do, if the Yerevan residents give Dashnaktsutyun their vote of confidence on September 23d, she says that the residents of Yerevan have long been tired of ridiculous statements, pathetic speeches and texts, and we have a long way to go to good and better.
