“The world needs us” “Aurora” candidates presented their stories

Yesterday American University of Armenia held a meeting, “Aurora 2017” award contenders Tom Katinan, Fartun Adan, Jamil Afghane, Denis Mukweg shared their stories. One of the candidates, Mohammed Darvish Syrian doctor had not come to the meeting because of documentation problems. Let’s note that the selection committee selected five candidates from among the 558 candidates, of which 254 were unique and represented 13 countries in 66 languages.

 

The meeting was attended by candidates who presented their stories, talked about their mission to help people, carried out despite danger, threats and difficult conditions.

 

The “Aurora -2017” award ceremony is scheduled for May 28. Prize winner will receive an award of $ 100,000 to continue its activities as well as a grant of $ 1,000,000, which will provide a unique opportunity to continue the donation chain, supporting organizations inspired by him.
