“The Election Code does not prohibit individuals from entering the headquarters but …”
While CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan explained: “Electoral Code does not prohibit individuals from entering the headquarters,” Eduard Sharmazanov, Head of the RPA headquarters states he “will not allow anyone enter the offices…” The theme is refered to by “Liberty” radio station, presenting recording and comments on the incident with Zaruhi Postanjyan.
Representative of the “Union for Informed Citizens” NGO implementing Election Observation Mission, Daniel Ioannisyan, meanwhile, says the general headquarters are designed to work with voters, and if it is closed to citizens, including Zaruhi Postanjyan, it is very strange.
He points another important factor. “Zaruhi Postanjyan said that she would call the track of the crime. The police, after hearing the sentence, should not remove Zaruhi Postanjyan from the place but, instead, should take other measures necessary to find traces of the crime”.
