While  developing draft provisions from  international documents were more comprehensively taken into account.

During the discussion deputy of the “Heritage” faction Tevan Poghosyan, proposed the main rapporteur  to increase women’s involvement  in the new law on “Local Government”, reaching at least 20 percent.

In the three communities where we have proportional elections, we will automatically get to the city women  involved in the quota size. Observing Results Consolidated communities, we see that women are not involved in consolidated  communities of the City Council, the representation of women in general decreased. Do not you think that this law will be very important in terms of the fixing percentage  of women’s involvement in the City Council, at least 20 percent”, – he said.
