Angin Arshakyan: “You have to realize where you are going, what will you do, what you want to change people’s lives”

“The council members will not be elected only for giving promises but working. Whether male or female, everyone should understand that they should not accidentally enter politics. You have to realize where you are going, what will you do, what you want to change people’s lives”, – this is how Angin Arshakyan/ Professor of Echmiadzin’s State college, president of Echmiadzin branch of Association of Women with University Education/, –  imagines her task in case of being elected.

All day long and even  in the evening all the more citizens come to Arshakyan’s election headquarters. They appeal with a variety of social issues, confident that, if elected  Angin  well-known in Etchmiadzin by her active public work in case of being elected as a council member can help to solve their problems.

She believes that the days are gone when men did not accept social activism of women. Today it is recognized that the presence of women in politics is necessary.
