“Do not isolate yourself”: Admonition of a business woman with disability
52-year-old Ashkhen Margaryan from Yeghegnadzor,was with the soldiers during the April war. Almost every day her fresh baked gata, cakes and khachapuri were reaching our guys watching borders in Artsakh and Vayots Dzor.
Ashkhen Margaryan was deprived of the right leg on the ripe at young age because of a serious illness. The other leg is sick. She moves in a wheelchair. Hard childhood, health problems, as well as personal problems suppressed cheerful woman.
“I started working beginning from minus infinity. At the time, my daughter was always there for me. Then I had two students. They were very helpful. Other people who used to buy pastry and were pleased with also gave strength to me. I started to work better and longer”,- she says.
Many people know about Mrs. Ashkhen’s pastries, taste fame spread across the region. She is glad that in conditions of healthy competition she could create huge demand. The region’s leaders, clergy, military commanders nearby know her very well.
She encourages persons with disabilities – “Do not isolate yourself”. Now he is thinking about buying a car, so that she can visit people with disabilities in her free time as they are vulnerable in many ways.
Let us note that this year 30 applications for the Prime Minister’s “Best Female Entrepreneur” award 2016 were submitted.
