Aurora dialogues: “Why women’s talent is ignored?”
“Our problems cannot be solved without women. It is not possible to solve conflicts, fight against terrorism, promote economic development without women”, – said former US ambassador to the UN, former deputy head of the US National Security Council Nancy Soderberge in her speech during Aurora Dialogues discussions.
She added that most of the poor and uneducated worldwide are women.
“Surprising reality! But when you face serious challenges, why ignore women’s talent?”,- said Nancy Soderberge.
The study, according to her, shows that if women are freer, the government is more efficient, better react to people, if women are free to conduct business, in that case greater economic growth is supported, when they are involved in the fields of healthcare and education, their families develop better, the community thrives better when they have equal rights, nations are better, are in a stable, peaceful and secure situation.
“I’m not saying women are better than men,” she said, adding that women provide new opportunities for new revenues.
