Congratulations to the winners of the contest “Equal opportunities”

13^th annual media competition award “Equal opportunities” on disability theme was held. The contest is implemented by “Bridge of hope” and “Mission East” organizations. The purpose is popularization of the idea of creating equal opportunities for people with disabilities. This year 22 journalistic works were represented – 9 of them were printed and electronic articles, 9 – videos and 4 – radio and multimedia. This was reported by disability info website.

In the category “Journalistic article” the third prize was given to reporter of internet newspaper “Hetq” Arpine Minasyan for the article “Disability as a reason to stay out of general education” (100 000 AMD). The second prize was given to a journalist of information-analytical portal “Aysor.am” and “womennet.am” Lia Khojoyan for her article “ Inclusive education starts at kindergarten” (150 000 AMD). The first prize was given to Christine Aghalaryan for her article “Affordable Yerevan with drawn wheelchair platforms” (200 000AMD).
