Young People from Europe Arrived to Armenia to Participate in a Training on “Organisational Management”
Twenty-four young people from European countries this week participate in an international training course on “Organisational Management” in Aghveran. The training is organised by the Austrian youth organisation “Progressum” and Armenian “Youth for Exchange and Cooperation” in the framework of Erasmus+ programme of the EU.
During a week, young people from Armenia, Austria, Georgia, Poland, Spain and Turkey will have the opportunity to study management principles and mechanisms, enhance their organisational competencies and learn different management tools. Besides studying the training topics, the participants will have an opportunity to represent their culture and traditions during the planned intercultural evenings.
– As the training outcome, we expect that the participants will considerably improve their organizational and managerial skills and thanks to the knowledge gained will efficiently manage their youth organisations back home, – said Sanja Bozic, the representative of the Austrian “Progressum”.
In order to explore the cultural heritage of Armenia, today the participants have visited some historical monuments of Armenia, such as Sevanavank, Garni and Geghard. In the evening they will arrive to Yerevan.
These kind of international programmes are important for strengthening the network between youth organisations from different countries and promoting intercultural learning, networking and mutual cooperation across the countries.
The “Organisational Management” training course is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and is organised by the Austrian youth organisation “Progressum” with the cooperation of its local partner “Youth for Exchange and Cooperation”. It was launched on August 29 in Aghveran and will last till September 7.
The project has been funded with support from the European Union.
