Gender inequality in daily practice
One of the researches represented within the frame of of a two-day conference entitled « Gender issues in the Contemporary Armenia: from research to politics» addresses to this issue. In order to reveal reasons of inequality and violence in daily life the author of the research Aghasi Tadevosyan has conducted 24 in-depth and 12 expert interviews. The research shows that relationship between men and women in Armenia is mainly characterized as unequal. The researcher separated expressed and hidden forms of inequality. «Hidden forms of inequality are mainly the cases which are considered as usual, and therefore, admissible for the majority».
