Our girl children – 2014
There are nearly 422000 girl children (0-18) living in Armenia. Two out of every five children (including girls) (42,8%) lives in poverty, and 3,7% of them are extremely poor. In Armenia ratio of families wishing to have a girl child and those wishing to have a boy child is 1/6. But if they are born, girl children are taken care equally as boy children.
