During 2015 no woman was elected as a community leader
During the last year, women were not elected as community leaders. This is evidenced by the data provided by the Central Electoral Commission. Let’s recall that only 17 out of 915 municipalities are headed by women and it is only about village mayors as women have never occupied position of a mayor.
In community leader elections only 6 out of registered 158 candidates were women. However, no one of them has achieved victory in the elections.
