Vigen Sargsyan: “Gender-based abortions are just a disgrace for our nation”
“This is a disgrace for our nation. I am sure that we all have things to do – the State, the Armenian Apostolic Church, Civil society. We are looking forward to the active participation of the civil society”, – this was posted by the Head of the Presidential Administration Vigen Sargsyan in response to the data posted in Mediamax Agency’s website according to which gender disparity among newborn babies in Armenia is most obvious not in case of the first and the second children but in case of the third child – 160 boys and 100 girls.
