Srbuhi Grigoryan. “I lay the foundation for change in our city”

WomenNet.am- interlocutor’s is a candidate for mayor of Sisian Srbuhi Grigoryan who stands for election with a  slogan “towards changes”. Journalist, member of the Council of Sisian, executive director of the Women’s Resource Center Srbuhi Grigoryan, head of the local office of the “Bright Armenia” party is the first to be nominated as a candidate for the head of the community. She says, that Sisian needs a mayor who is caring, principled-based person who is able to project solutions to the existing problems and not afraid of criticism.

Let’s note that the Sisian community leader and council elections are scheduled for October 2d. Four candidates were nominated for the post, and one withdrew. In the elections will participate current Mayor, non-partisan Aghasi Hakobjanian, and member Srbuhi Grigoryan from “Bright Armenia” party, non-party Artur Sargsyan. Sisian current council consists of 15 members. The only woman Srbuhi Grigoryan. 21 citizens  running for this council member candidate, 5 of them are  women.
