Split into the faction “Yerkir Tsirani”

“Yerkir Tsirani” party has issued a statement, which states that the Yerkir Tsirani faction of the Yerevan City Council has expressed distrust in its two members, Hayk Petrosyan and Mnatsakan Parakshiyev.

“On June 18, members of Yerkir Tsirani faction of the Yerevan City Council held a session, which was attended by the faction leader Zaruhi Postanjyan, Secretary Marina Khachatryan and member Sona Aghekyan.

The agenda included issues of distrust in Hayk Petrosyan and Mnatsakan Parakheyev and their withdrawal from the Yerevan City Council’s standing committees.

The ground for distrust was the fact that Hayk Petrosyan and Mnatsakan Parakhetiev betrayed the ideology, programs and principles of the party, as well as the subordination of the citizen’s supremacy to personal interests, “the Yerkir Tsirani faction press service reported.

Mnatsakan Parakshiyev and Hayk Petrosyan, who were distrusted by the Yerkir Tsirani faction, have not addressed the issue of putting down their mandates yet. According to Hayk Petrosyan, this statement was a surprise for them. The reason is maybe that the participation in the council meetings without emotions.
