The best place for women’s lives

 

American weekly Newsweek in a recent issue dedicated to the global struggle for women’s rights recognized Iceland best country for women’s lives.

 Armenia is on the 43 positions.

 

The journalists carried out a study in which distributed the country to places depending on the success they have achieved in the field of women’s equality.

 

The first rank went to Iceland, followed by Sweden and Canada. For the three leaders are Denmark, Finland, Switzerland and Norway. U.S. in eighth place, while Australia and the Netherlands complete the top ten.

 

The rating is on criteria such as women’s rights, access to education, medicine, women’s participation in politics. According Icenews, overall rating of Iceland – 90 points out of a hundred possible.
