Mary Janoyan: “I have goals and programs”

Vayk Vayots Dzor community council candidate, RPA member, teacher and human rights activist Mary Janoyan running by her husband’s advice and persuasion, even though the husband is against his wife’s involvement in this area. Over the years, Mary Pedagogical and active social activities came to persuade that she is able to contribute to the development of the Council of Elders of the community.

Mary was born in Vayk Janoyan. Father of the family with  Two daughters and the son having conservative attitudes was against the continuation of Mary’s education and the decision of receiving  the profession of lawyer. However, Mary entered Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, and later took part in the training of lawyers.

Currently she is working as a history teacher at the school , the chairman of the trade union of workers in the education sector, the Holy See appointed defender of the rights of workers of the same field, also an active member of the Community Council. She says that in the nearby community Gomq she cofounded with her husband “Benson” travel agency trying to promote community tourism.
