The problem of kindergartens: what are the political forces promising in their election programs?
Most of the 12 political forces participating in the Yerevan Council of Elders touched upon the issue of pre-school education in their pre-election programs, raising the various issues accumulated in this area. More attention was paid to the issues of the registration of children in kindergartens and building conditions.
The “My Step” alliance plans to improve the premises and yard conditions of pre-school institutions, map the premises and territories.
Luys alliance plans to gradually return rented areas to kindergartens.
The “Yerkir Tsirani” party has touched upon the issue in different sections of its extensive program.
The Rule of Law program envisages the development of a free kindergarten network and the maintenance of the privatization of their buildings.
The Heritage Party plans to increase the number of kindergartens.
The ARFD program also envisages expanding the network of kindergartens (to open pre-school facilities attached to mainstream schools).
The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) notes that Yerevan residents are dissatisfied with pre-school but they do not envisage how they are going to solve the problem?
The other parties did not address the issue.
