Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of the world’s largest social networking site, announced that he will go for paternity leave for a month after the birth of his second daughter. International media quickly rushed into the details, noting that “Facebook gives its employees (both women and men) a 4-month leave because, according to studies, when working parents are able to get free time and spend it with the newborn , it has a positive influence on the whole family.
“When Maximma (the first daughter) was born, I took advantage of a 2-month vacation leave and was so pleased to be able to stay with her during the first months of her life. Soon our other daughter will be born, and I’m going to go on vacation again”, wrote the billionaire on his official page. He also said that he will take the first month of his vacation immediately after his daughter’s birth, and the second month – in December. “I’m sure the company will still stand when I return,” Zuckerberg added. Mark Zuckerberg, 33, was married to Priscilla Chan in 2012, their first-born Maximan, born in 2015.
Andrey Malakhov, already a former speaker of the talk show “Let’s Talk” has recently announced his intention to go on vacation on the occasion of the birth of the firstborn. In this regard, media wrote that this was the main reason for leaving the Channel One. They wrote that producer Natalya Nikonova, in response to his request for a decree, suggested him to orient – a nurse or an announcer.
By the way, the holidays on the birth of a child are legalized in most EU member states except for Germany, Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Slovakia, but its duration and the amount of benefits associated with it are different.
