It is not about women personal details of whose life is there on the Internet pages. It is about the women who create and manage the Internet. In fact, senior women in leadership positions in major Internet companies are more than other businesses in the traditional sectors.
Mary Mikere can be considered Internet’s most powerful woman in the world. Barron’s magazine in 1998, called her “Queen of the Internet”. She is venture partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Company, and until now – Morgan Stanley recent bank analyst. No one can feel the new trends as good as she does.
Almost in the same way Google- Vice President Marissa Mayer and Susan Voychitskin took a risk and started working on an undisclosed project, which became the main searching machine of the world.
Cheryl Sendberge came to Facebook at a time when it was already world famous, and has contributed to the increase of income of social network for several times. Recently she became a member of Facebook- Board of Directors.
Women set up a new internet projects, just not everyone knows about the success of Caterina Fake, Flick’s founders and Arianna Huffington, who is the creator of The Huffington Post.
