Armenian women policemen are not inferior to men in their professional capabilities/ video
The young girls and boys whom we meet in the evenings in the Centre of Yerevan since June 1st are the employees of new Patrol service of Armenian Police. They present themselves to the people of Yerevanand guests by new approach of maintenance of public order. The head of public relations and media department of Police Ashot Aharonyan told Armenpress that it is a Patrol service of new quality which implements both patrol and traffic functions. “It was a new approach which was evident not only from their uniform” mentioned Aharonyan. In his words the employees of that service first of all have the ability to communicate as well as the knowledge of foreign language.
“Our functions include the keeping of public order, close and polite communication with the citizens, showing of first aid, communication with the tourists in English language” said Lieutenant Sargsyan told Armenpress. He mentioned that during the service most of all happen car accidents, violation of public order. To the question which is the main feature of new working style Sargsyan answered that first of all it is the love towards the work, being educated. Besides male employees there can be seen beautiful woman policemen which as Sargsyan assured are not interior to men in their professional capabilities.
